Our Staff

Alan Lee Withers, PT, DPT, CLT, CSCS

Alan Lee Withers became a physical therapist after he was a patient exposed to the therapy as a high school athlete. After his third knee surgery, he found that he loved the patient/therapist interaction and the mixture of science and exercise. When his therapy was concluded, he even volunteered in the PT clinic to help others with their exercises.

He received his Bachelors degree in Exercise Physiology from Brigham Young University and his
Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Creighton University.

Additionally, he achieved the designations of Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach and Certified Lymphedema Therapist. He is currently board eligible for the McKenzie Method of Diagnosis and Treatment of the Spine designation.

He gained experience in outpatient settings, Acute and Sub acute Neurological Rehabilitation, and Cardiac Rehabilitation. Prior to coming to West Branch, Dr. Withers was a resident at the Penn State Center for Sports Medicine where he practiced Athletic Medicine and taught graduate and bacheloreatte classes in Sports Medicine and Modalities.

His hobbies include volunteering as a Sunday School teacher for his church, serving as a scout  master for the local boy scout troop, travelling to Disney and beyond with his family, and working  or playing outside with his family.

He is affiliated with  the West  Branch clinic, handles industrial contracts, provides home health care and does Athletic Training for the Ogemaw Height High School's Athletes.


Bill Pourcho, PT, MPT

Bill Pourcho was drawn to a career as a physical therapist from his desire to help people in an active, movement-based profession.

He received his Bachelor of Science in exercise and health science from Alma College in 1996 and a Master of Science in Physical Therapy from Central Michigan University in 1999.

He has also acquired certification in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (MDT), also known as The Mckenzie MethodR for working with spine and peripheral joint problems.

He joined Pinnacle Physical Therapy from its inception in 2003.

When he is not working, he enjoys fishing for salmon and trout on Lake Michigan in the summer, ice-fishing, cross-country skiing in the winter, and mountain biking and hunting in the fall.


Lisa Marie James, DPT       

Lisa Marie James has her Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise and Health Science from Alma College, and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Elon University.

She is currently working on her McKenzie Certification.

She joined the company in July, 2014, and specializes in orthopedics.

Lisa Marie was drawn to a career as a physical therapist because she enjoys helping people and being able to help them improve their quality of life through exercise, movement and natural healing methods.

When she is not working, she enjoys crafting, sewing, woodworking, running, hiking and playing with her dogs.


Zachery Bedtelyon, Physical Therapy Assistant

Zachery Bedtelyon has a Bachelor of Science from Saginaw Valley State University and an Associate of Applied Science degree from Delta College. He is currently working on his McKenzie certification.

He gathered experience working a variety of hospital and outpatient settings and joined our firm in November of 2015.

He selected his career because he enjoys helping people.

When he is not working he likes to spend time with his family, building with wood, gardening, making movies, travelling and seeing new places and meeting new people. He also likes to help out at church.


Christopher Aaron Ott, physical therapist assistant

Christopher Aaron Ott has an Associate of Arts degree from Kirkland Community College and an Associate of Applied Science from Delta College.

He is associated with both the West Branch and Rose City clinics.

He is also CPR certified and is currently working on his McKenzie Certification.

He received his clinical education at Alpena Regional Medical Center, Otsego Memorial Hospital and an outpatient clinic.

His interest in physical therapy was sparked after he broke his leg. He observed a therapist at the clinic and decided it was great profession because it helped make people feel better.

When he is not working he enjoys hunting, fishing, golf, motorcross, playing guitar and spending time with his friends and family.


Sharon Leigh Anderson, certified water aerobic instructor

Sharon Leigh Anderson is a Certified Water Aerobics Instructor working out of the West Branch clinic.

She attended Alpera Community College and Kirkland Community College.

When she is not working, she works at the roller rink and spends time with her family. She also loves do-it-yourself home improvement projects.


Christen Ockerman

Christen Ockerman has worked with Pinnacle Rehabilitation and Personal Training for 11 years.

She started as a cleaner when she was in college, and then moved on to be a physical therapy technician, then to co-ordinator of the pool program and vice-president of public relations.

She now specializes as an insurance verifier and authorizer.

When she is not working she enjoys reading, boating, spending time where her children and husband, going to the beach, camping, organizing, visiting coffee shops and spending time at her family’s three cabins.

She adits the Lake Michigan shoreline is her favorite place in the state.


Cecelia Ann Dobrzynski

Cecilia Ann Dobrzynski, who works out of the West Branch facility, handles insurance verification and multi-tasking at the West Branch clinic.

She graduate from high school in 2005 and went on to study for two years at Kirkland Community College.

She joined the company in March of 2013 at the West Branch clinic where is a certified medical clerk.

A great multi-tasker, she also handles insurance vertification.

When she is not working she enjoys trail riding, puzzles, scrapbooking, cooking, baking, thift store shopping and spending time with her family. She also loves to spoil her mini dachshund, Ollie.


Ronda J. Haugi

Affiliated with the West Branch clinic, Ronda J. Haugi graduate from high school and has some college. She joined the firm in 2005.

When she is not working she enjoys spending time with her family and working out. She also enjoys quilting, and walking.
